4 months old!!

Treyden had his 4 month appointment this week. I can't believe how much he has grown. He now weighs 14 lbs and is 27 1/2 inches long. He's grown 3 inches in the last 2 months! He is off the charts for height, over 100%, but for weight he is only 28%, so he's just a tall and skinny boy. We are so thankful for how healthy and happy he has been. We couldn't have asked for a better baby. He usually sleeps around 8 hours at night, but the other night he slept a 12 hour stretch from 10pm-9am. It was nice, but it scared me so bad! I had to keep going in there to make sure he was okay. We love having Treyden in our lives, and seeing his personality develop.

I tried getting some cute pictures today, but the ones where he was smiling the cutest turned out fuzzy. This was the best one I could get. I'll have to try again another day. I'm not sure what's with the gang sign he's flashing, though...

He was more interested in his feet then having his picture taken. We were laughing the other night because Treyden was gripping the toes on his left foot in between the toes on his right. I am constantly doing that! We already knew that he had my feet, but we didn't realize he'd inherited my weird feet habits also.

Catchin' up...

Wow, we are already at the end of June! I cannot believe how fast the summer is going by, but I am LOVING the hot weather. I have been so busy, that I feel like I am just running in circles and always trying to catch up. The last month or so has consisted of:

~A trip to Idaho
~Andy hiking 20 miles in one day (crazy!!)
~Being sick for 2 weeks- head cold, flu, another head cold...
~Working to redo my entire vinyl lettering website, plus create a second one. It's a huge project, but it will be totally worth it when it's done. Thank goodness for such a smart husband!!
~Andy starting to work 2 days a week from home (yay!)
~Cutting vinyl like crazy. I finally had to hire the neighbor girl to start helping out, because I just couldn't keep up with it.
~Hosting a neighborhood BBQ. We are loving our new neighborhood, and have made some good friends.
~Buying a commuter car for Andy. Gas prices are outrageous, and the 15 mpg his truck was getting just wasn't working.
~Physical therapy appointments for Treyden every 2 weeks because one side of his head was going flat. Thank goodness it's gotten better and he's not going to have to wear a helmet!
~Planting flowers, yard work, and many other things that I have just been too busy to remember them all.

Maybe that doesn't seem like much, but believe me, when you combine them all it's been crazy. But life is good. We continue to recognize the Lord's hand in our lives, and couldn't ask for more.

Andy & Treyden taking a nap. I thought it was so funny how they were sleeping in such similar positions with one arm up. I couldn't help taking a picture.

Treyden is getting so anxious to be up looking around all the time, so we decided to try out the bumbo. Obviously it wasn't working so well, but he's starting to get stronger at holding himself up. He is just so observant and loves to see what's going on around him.

This just sums up how I have felt this last month. I was so exhausted I just laid down on the floor and fell asleep.

First time swimming! He likes his baths so warm, that he wasn't sure what to think about this. Man, I've got some good lookin' boys!

Doesn't he look like he's having a good time? :) We decided after this that we need to start giving him cooler baths so he gets more used to the water.
