My first Mother's Day

This is a little late being posted, but I had such a good mother's day! I wasn't expecting anything, and I ended up being totally spoiled! To start out with Saturday night Andy said he would get up with Treyden during the night and feed him, which was so nice. Granted, he only gets up once, but still, it was so nice to not have to worry about it. Then Andy made me waffles with strawberries and whip cream for breakfast - my favorite! Then he surprised me with a dozen gorgeous roses, and then if all that wasn't enough, then he brought out a present. It was a digital key chain, some goodies (chocolate, yummmmm), and a few little kitchen items I'd been wanting. It was a really fun day. I am so grateful to be a mom. There is something so special about being a mom that I didn't understand until now that I have a little one of my own. It's definitely trying at times, but so worth it! Thanks Andy and Treyden for such a great day!

Here is a picture of Treyden and I on Mother's Day with the pretty roses I got.

Baby Blessing

We finally had Treyden's baby blessing this past Sunday and everything went really well. Andy gave him a nice blessing, and I was really emotional. We both just feel so blessed to have this sweet little boy in our family. He has definitely been worth the wait! We had 45 people there and for dinner afterwards (all that just family!). Thank goodness it was a beautiful day, so we could eat outside.

2 Months!!

I can't believe over two months have gone by, and how much Treyden has changed. Everyone says they love the cuddly newborn stage, which I do, but I have really enjoyed see him start to interact and discover the world. He smiles so much now, and is starting to react when he's tickled. I know he's going to start laughing anytime, and I can't wait!

Cousins

Brett & Laynie came down a couple weeks ago, and it was so fun hanging out with them. Everytime I see them it makes me wish we lived closer to each other. I'm glad Brett married someone I get along with so well. (You're awesome Laynie!). Here is a picture of Treyden and their little girl Breanna as we're driving around. They look really enthused!
